"Wait," he called out to the boy, unsure whether he was seeing and hearing right and wanting to check if it really was his young master. In addition he could not imagine the Earl saying "thanks" or even thanking anyone for anything at all. Sebastian found that the voice was exactly the same although the words were not something that he would have associated with Ciel Phantomhive as they held a different cadence. "Uh, sorry for walking into you and thanks for helping," he said and dusted off his jeans before turning to walk away. The other eye was a cerulean blue which was looking at him puzzledly.
The boy had a pale face, blue grey hair with a long fringe that partially covered a black fabric eye patch.

The face resembled one of his former masters, Ciel Phantomhive exactly from skin colour to hair length. The boy accepted his hand and Sebastian pulled him up and then saw the boy's face properly and promptly gasped. Sebastian blinked in surprise before extending a hand to the person who he observed was a young male teenager dressed in a pair of black jeans and a plain navy blue hooded top with the hood down. As if to explain, a pedestrian walked into him and tripped over onto the ground in front of him. The lights of the city bathed the streets in an orange glow which distorted all visible colours so it was unlikely that the blood would be spotted.Īs he was enjoying the faint aftertaste of the soul he had just digested, a new tantalising taste assailed his nostrils and he inhaled deeply, wondering what it was. He was glad that it was dark so no one passing by would notice he had a trace of blood around his mouth. It had been a simple contract, much to his relief he never wanted to the repeat the mess that contracting with a certain boy had caused. He had just completed a contract and taken the soul which had unfortunately been a little substandard for his tastes. He really is a beautiful piece of art, I am absolutely flabbergasted at how much detail and love went into this. The demon that went under the name Sebastian licked the last of the blood off his lips as he stood enjoying the taste, on a bustling street corner in London. Once again it has three windows, one on the front and two on either side, making it to where you can see the figure at least in 3 different ways making it a great option for shelf display if you so choose! The window makes it easy to have displayed Ciel without even removing him once from the box! He would've looked just as good. Much like Sebastian's box, except a little wider, it's still elegantly decorated in black and silver. I think they obviously knew what they were doing when they made this, the base isn't so simple that it is missed but not so elaborate that it takes the show either. The base is much like Sebastian's, it's simple yet holds a certain amount of elegance to it, if it were any more elaborate I think it would distract entirely from the main focus which is Ciel of course. They captured Ciel in all aspects with the posing, I mean seriously!
The way he's standing as if challenging someone or daring you to do something your not, is intimidating but so utterly beautiful. I mean it's utterly amazing how well they did with this painting, just amazing!Įlegant, yet classy all the way, we should expect nothing less of Earl Ciel Phantomhive! His pose is very Ciel in nature, right down to the way he's holding his cane! I really love the way they worked the "tail" of his outfit around his feet looks slightly haphazard yet beautiful at the same time. I think the best part is his eye, it's beautifully done and is typical Ciel, the way they painted his eye really captured Ciel to a disturbingly accurate point. Holy crap, they could not have done a better job sculpting him if they had tried! The only thing I think I noticed out of place was the seam lines around the shoulders but those could easily be mistaken for part of the clothing so very fashionably concealed! They really did very well, from the ruffle of his clothing, to the detail of the skull on his cane, they pulled out all the stops on him! So a perfect score.Ĭan we say perfect? well-balanced? Yes we can! They did an AMAZING job, and I do mean amazing job with the paint! No bleeding at all, even on the finer details and they added the appropriate amount of shading where it was needed. Please gentle with me, this is only my third review, and I'm still a bit nervous!
